Looks like I will not be making it to Nekocon this year. I will miss getting to see everyone, but my schedule will not allow it to happen.
I want everyone to have a great halloween, because I know I will be.
And because I am bad about updating this journal. I don't work at marriott anymore, I just got a new job with an independent catering company here in Charlotte, called Occasions Catering. I have been there for two weeks and I love it!

Wedding was a success. Ewa and Jayson had rain, rainbows and dolphins. It was a fantastic beach wedding.

I had to bury Gulliver today, he shall be remembered forever... I forgot the name of the condition, but it is similar to Lupus in cats. He passed today around 4pm of natural causes.

My mom is awesome, she sent me a package yesterday. She when out of her way to find some earrings that I liked when we went shopping together, but I couldn't find them in my size. She found them and mailed them to me, she is so sweet! DNA Spirals, whee.

I just went out to let Gulliver in for the night. Gulliver was not in the yard, I look out towards the cemetery and call his name. The head of an animal turned to look at me and then continued to advance towards Gulliver and I realized that it was a Gray Fox. Even though there was a fence between me and the fox I stopped moving forward and called Gulliver's name again the fox slowly walked away. After the fox was out of sight Gulliver came on home.

Friday morning I had my surgery, and I spent three night in a hotel with my parents. Saturday morning my parents helped me take Gulliver to the vet to get a FIV shot. On Sunday we stopped by and Gulliver was acting like himself, Angel said the only difference he noticed was Gulliver staying up all night and meowing at nigh, because I was not home.
Gulliver has not been eating these last couple days... He sleeps all day, drinks a lot of water, and is acting like he is hungry, but then when he has food he will not eat...
In the last few days the only things I have seen him consume have been:
Water
Milk
Gravy from cat food, but not the food it self
Dental Treats
Grass (Outside)
He has quickly lost weight in a matter of a few days, I am curious what is up... maybe depression of my absence... or maybe a sore throat... Tooth ache... Side effect from the FIV shot...

Found out today that a roommate has been doing heroine for the last month, and now that the end of the month is three days away he is moving out, because he can not afford rent... I am not amused...

Time for the job hunting...
My goal is to have a new job by the end of the year. I have already applied to the Ritz-Carlton, opening down here for the Asst. Pastry Chef position, and I am currently looking at some catering companies as well. Problem I am finding is, most places are looking for someone to come in as entry level, were I really need to look at asst. management positions.
I could be wrong, but I believe my chef is trying to jew me out of the James Beard House trip. Going to talk to him, and if I don't get an answer that I like, I'll be going over his head, to his boss. It is a risky situation, but I have to do something about it.

If you intend on being so dumb as to steal money from angel and myself please remember this. AIM logs everything and though you even tried to delete them, you left the message window open on the computer! We were doing you a favor by letting us live with us when you had no place to stay. Do not act on something so retarded when you know you will be caught. Be glad I found out about it and kicked you out, if angel was the one to found out you might not still have hands. Be advised if we ever see you again, it might be the last time you see life. Oh and next time you try to pull a stupid stunt, at least be smart enough to cover your tracks. Do not lie when you are first accused when you did it. Do not change the subject of the matter when I talk to you about it. I have given you a deadline, Now get the fuck out of my house!

Gulliver got in to a fight last night with a feral... his is okay, with a few small wounds and a bite to his leg. Unfortunately the bite is causing him enough pain that he is limping. There does not appear to be any obvious swelling but I am sure he must have a bruise. Hopefully it will feel better soon.
At first I was worried because he returned with quite a bit of blood of him, but then I quickly realized it was not his blood. 11.5 lbs of vicious. I am thinking that the feral decided to be territorial as Gulliver is neutered. Not positive but I pretty sure neutered helps ease territorial nature is cats.
He slept early last night, but he got up later for food and water, as long as he continues to walk on the leg and eat and drink, and want to go outside, then I am not too worried about it.
