good news and bad news
I enjoyed a nice weekend in myrtle beach with friends sort of a pre-holiday getaway. It was very enjoyable and I bought some real home made butter mints and apple butter in South Carolina.

and now for the bad:

On Saturday I was informed that my grandmother died. I am feeling saddened by the lost, but sadly I never got the chance to know who she really was. The main reason being that she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's when I was like 10 or 12. What I do remember of her is fairly faint, but none the less in my memories. I will miss her, but I do not need apologies or sentiments from this event. The main reason for this post is that I will remember when she passed. December, Saturday 20, 2008 at 1400 EST.

The viewing is tomorrow and the funeral on Tuesday. I will be in Virginia for the events but will have to return by Wednesday for work and then I will return to Virginia again after Christmas. I will still be visiting after Christmas for the 26th, 27th & 28th. I know my stay will be short but if you would like to see me please do contact me.
