Current mood: thankful

Out of pure curiosity I have been doing research on wars of the last three to four generations. Countless numbers of people died, land and crops completely destroyed. Chemical warfare: Napalm and Phosphorus, making people suffer, to make them wish they were dead. As well as enemies' civilians killed by the 'God old USA'.

Then I think of how grateful I am that all the soldiers, infantry, seamen, and airmen, I know are still alive. There is only one army-affiliated front man that I have not spoken to in a long time. I am not sure where his life has taken him, but I hope that he is safe.

If you are reading this and are a member of the armed forces, thank you for fighting for our freedom. Though I do believe mankind should be above physical disputes by now, I support my loved ones and friends.

and on another note... it is snowing...

Nice to see you survived the great storm. When I heard the news, I immediately hopped in the car to go get necessities - vodka (multiple bottles). I, too, survived and, oddly enough, there was no snow accumulation anywhere near my house. Absolut: the other snow removal chemical (when exhaled in quantity). Just doing my part to keep the roads safe.
